MaxTorque, LLC is founded on the concept that a superiorly designed, highly efficient gearbox product line that uses 21st century sourcing and manufacturing approaches will have a significant advantage in the marketplace. Our patented AutoLock technolgy allows us to offer worm gear solutions with efficiencies approaching 70%, yet still have the self-locking characteristics of conventional gearboxes. Additionally, we design our products to allow for extreme flexibility in valve and actuator coupling arrangements with a minimum of additional work required for adaptation.
MaxTorque’s primary focus is on supplying gearboxes and related products to the performance valve industry with sizes ranging from 1,000 to 1,000,000 ft/lbs of output torque. MaxTorque gears are designed to be utilized in motorized and manual applications and offer significant advantages for both. Our novel design and manufacturing approach allows MaxTorque products to be quickly modified to our partner’s specifications even those with special requirements.
In addition to having extensive manufacturing capability at our affiliate company, Limerick Machine Company, we have a number of key suppliers and partners, which allow us to be both flexible and responsive. We founded the company in Maine to take advantage of a superior work force with an in-born sense of service, quality and workmanship we believe you will find in all of our products and dealings with us.
